U.S. Sen. Robert C. Byrd, D-W.Va., made American history Tuesday, overwhelmingly winning a record ninth consecutive term in the Senate. MotionMasters was on hand to record the historic event as the man called the “Soul of the Senate” thanked West Virginians for the honor of sending him back to the nation’s capital.
