MotionMasters, Inc. Wins
Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award

"Growing a company from an idea to an industry leader requires a special breed of individual - someone who does not believe those who say it can not be done... someone who views obstacles as opportunities... someone who will not take "no" for an answer. It takes an entrepreneur."
-- from literature promoting the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

At MotionMasters, we have won awards for what we do - and the way we do it. One of our proudest achievements, however, is in recognition as a winner of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.

The process begins through nomination. Ours came through our bankers at FNB Private Banking. Tom Bulla, Doug Fisk, Catherine Gilbert and others believed in us enough to spend a substantial amount of time preparing our submission. Each nominee is evaluated on several fronts; financial, corporate history, corporate culture, community service and achievements being only a few.

Following submission of the nomination package, finalists undergo a rigorous interview process by a panel of judges. The panel's mission is to recognize those individuals who are paving the way for a new age of entrepreneurship, according to Paul Arbogast, former managing partner of the Charleston office of Ernst and Young, LLP.

MotionMasters owner Diana Sole  joined a select group of business owners when they proudly accepted the award in July 2001.
